I'm a SBF, 43, living in Chicago. I have a BS in General Studies (Philosophy) and a Masters in Public Administration. I have had many jobs in social services, including 4 years in the Robert Taylor homes where there were frequent shoot-outs during the workday. (Not kidding.)Now I work as a health administrator for a large governmental agency. I continue to work on various recurrent issues: Weight loss (I used to be 110 lbs heavier, lost weight on my own), health and exercise, home organization and decluttering, and the behemoth of them all - RELATIONSHIPS. A survivor of an abusive childhood, in the past 2.5 years, I have had 4 deaths, including my brother, father and two beloved cats, as well as many other stressful incidents, so emotional health and well-being figure prominently as well. Creative pursuits such as writing, singing and playing instruments. I am somewhat of an amateur anthropologist and psychologist, and enjoy seeing what makes people tick.
